Edgar Barrera is nominated as both songwriter and producer of the year for a second consecutive time. He is recognized for songs including "En Tus Sueños o En Los Míos" (Camilo), "(Entre Paréntesis)"

Record of the Year Nominees

The record of the year category features a tight race between Anitta, Bad Bunny, Camilo and Carín León, Cimafunk and Monsieur Periné, Jorge Drexler, Fonseca and Grupo Niche, Karol G, Juan Luis Guerra, and Mon Laferte.

New Categories

The first group of nominees for the new best contemporary Mexican music album category features Natanael Cano, DannyLux, Grupo Frontera, León, Michelle Maciel, and Peso. The newly-minted Latin electronic performance category is dominated by Brazillian DJ, Alok.

Awards Ceremony

The awards ceremony will take place on November 14, 2024, and will be broadcast on Univision, Galavisión, and ViX, preceded by a one-hour pre-show.
